Questions

Software, migration and terms

Which accounting software does Lakshmitva work with?

Lakshmitva keeps each client’s books in its own chart of accounts and exports prepared entries in formats suited to common ledger software used by Indian practices, including Tally-based setups. Your exact software and version are checked during the demo before you commit.

What counts as a client entity?

Each separate set of books is one entity. A client with two GSTINs in different states, or a proprietor with a separate LLP, counts as two.

How does data migration work?

For each client, the chart of accounts, opening balances and supplier and customer masters are imported from your existing records. On the Network plan, migration is handled with you as part of custom onboarding.

What are the contract terms?

Practice and Firm plans are billed per period with the entity limit of the plan. Network terms are agreed with each firm. You can move between plans as your client list changes.

Can we start with a few clients?

Yes. Most firms begin with a handful of clients for one period to learn the review flow, then bring the rest of the list across.

Can we export our data if we leave?

Yes. Books, working papers and the audit trail for each client can be exported. See the refund and cancellation policy for how access ends.

Bring a month of real documents from two or three clients. We will run them through the engine with you and show you the review queue they produce.
