Statement import
PDF and Excel or CSV statements from the major Indian banks, including multiple accounts per client and overdraft or cash credit accounts.
Practice Engine / Bank Reconciliation
Import statements for every account a client holds. UPI, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and cheque narrations are read, matched to invoices and receipts, and whatever does not match is left clearly open rather than parked in suspense.
Capabilities
PDF and Excel or CSV statements from the major Indian banks, including multiple accounts per client and overdraft or cash credit accounts.
UPI references, NEFT and RTGS UTRs, IMPS strings and cheque numbers are parsed to find the counterparty behind each line.
A single receipt settling three invoices, or one invoice paid in two parts, is matched as such, with the allocation shown.
Bank charges, loan EMIs, recurring rent and salary transfers can be set as rules for a client, so they stop needing attention every month.
Lines without a confident match are listed for review with suggestions, never posted to a suspense ledger automatically.
The reconciled ledger balance is compared to the statement closing balance, and any difference is shown before the month is marked ready.
Workflow
Statements arrive via the client portal or are uploaded by staff, one or many accounts at a time.
Each line is cleaned into date, amount, direction, reference and counterparty.
Lines are matched to invoices, receipts and payments already in the books, then to client rules.
Unmatched items are reviewed, explained, or raised with the client as a question.
In detail
Where the professional stays in charge
Where the engine is not confident, it asks. Explaining an unknown transfer is a judgment for your team and the client, and the system is built to leave that judgment with them.
| Rule | Example | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Exact reference | Cheque 000714 against a payment voucher with the same cheque number | Matched |
| Party and amount | UPI to SHREE TRADERS for ₹11,800 against invoice ST/26-27/0418 | Matched |
| Split settlement | NEFT of ₹48,500 against three open invoices totalling the same | Matched with allocation |
| Client rule | Monthly bank charges with GST | Posted by rule, visible in review |
| No confident match | IMPS of ₹15,000 to an individual with no bill | Left open for review |
Questions

Yes, through the client portal. Each month’s request can include the specific accounts you need, and the reminder goes out if they are not received.
Your staff can save the password for that client’s account once. It is stored encrypted and used only to open that client’s statements.
Only where you have set a rule for that client, and those entries still appear in the review batch so they can be checked.
